Hedera helix 'Alten Brucken'
Hedera helix 'Alten Brucken' (V, I). This German-1983. One must see this ivy in early spring,when the new growth comes out to truly appreciate it. Leaves three to barely five lobed with a cordate base, and an elon.

Hedera helix 'Amber Waves'
Hedera helix 'Amber Waves' (V, I). Medium-sized leaves with three to five lobes. Younger leaves are chartreuse to yellow, maturing to all-green. Holds yellow color better in shade than other yellow-leaved ivies. Self-branching.

Hedera helix 'Anita'
Hedera helix 'Antia' (M, BF). Small, dark green 'Ritterkreuz'- like leaves - with lobes widest in the middle that fold slightlyupward while tips curve downward. Strongly self-branching, compact plant, but slow to make long runners.

Hedera helix 'Asterisk'
Hedera helix 'Asterisk ' (BF). Five to seven narrow lobes,self-branching. As the name implies the leaves are asterisk like.

Hedera helix 'Boskoop'
Hedera helix 'Boskoop' (C,F). This sport of 'Green Ripple', has small, dark green, shiny leaves. One to three-lobed, diamond-shaped, with a frilled edge.

Hedera helix 'California Fan'
Hedera helix 'California Fan' (F, C). Leaves with 5 to 7 forward-pointing, shallow but broad lobes of similar size with a curl in sinus between the lobes. Leaf bases strongly wedge-shaped. Veins conspicuous.

Hedera helix 'Cockleshell' (F). Circular leaves with broad forward-pointing lobes which cup upward in new growth and downward in older leaves.

Hedera helix 'Congesta' (O). Upright plant with stout stems and sharply triangular leaves that are folded upward. New growth with flattened stems.

Hedera helix 'Duck Foot'
Hedera helix 'Duck Foot' (M, BF). Leaves small, with three rounded lobes. Compact and self-branching plant.

Hedera helix 'Dragon Claw'
Hedera helix 'Dragon Claw' (C). Large leaves with broad lobes and tightly fluted marges.

Hedera helix 'Elegantissima'
Hedera helix 'Elegantissima' (V) Leaves sharply three-lobed,with a wide,white margin,and a green-gray center. Margin of leaf has a pink tint which become more intense during cool temperatures.

Hedera helix 'Eva'
Hedera helix 'Eva' (V,BF)- One of the 'Variegated Needlepoint' ivies of the trade. Leaves with three forward pointing lobes, terminal lobe up to twice the length of laterals. Variegation a gray-green, irregular center with a creamy- white margin. Needs good light for best variegation.

Hedera helix 'Fantasia' (V) White and green speckled leaves with conspicuous white markings on the main veins.

Hedera helix 'Gilded Hawke'
Hedera helix 'Gilded Hawke' (V,C) This Beautiful ivy discovered by Gillia Hawke and named in her honor, has large leave: three to five lobes that curl downward. Viens raised with some puckering of the leaf surface. Color gold to yellow margin which can fade to cream in hot temperatures, with a green and gray center. Makes long runners.

Hedera helix 'Glacier'
Hedera helix 'Glacier' (V,I)- One of the oldest silver-gray, variegated ivies. Three-to-five-lobed, with basal lobes mere projections. Shallow sinuses make the leaf look triangular, with a heart-shaped base. Color gray-green with silver gray and cream edge.

Hedera helix 'Gold Child' (V, I). Medium to large ivy-shaped leaves; variegation under cool conditions a bright greenish-gold border with a center splashed with shades of gray. In hot weather border becomes creamy-white

Hedera helix 'Gold Heart' (V, I). Leaves small, widely spaced on pink to maroon stems, with bright yellow-blotched center and wide green border. Cental gold color constant; only the intensity varies with the environment.

Hedera helix 'Golden Ingot'
Hedera helix 'Golden Ingot' (V, I). (Synonym: 'Golden Inge'). Medium-large, more-or-less flat leaves with central blotch of greens and grays on a golden-yellow background, bordered by irregular, coalesced green flecks at the margin.

Hedera helix 'Golden Snow'
Hedera helix 'Golden Snow' (V, I). Leaves small to medium-sized, basically five-lobed, about as long as wide, with a cream to white margin and a green to gray-streaked center. The creamy-white border is widest at the leaf base and in the sinuses ("valleys") between the lobes. The border is irregularly blotched with pale lemon-yellow, giving the plant an overall lemon-yellow tint.

Hedera helix 'Ivalace' (C, M). Very lustrous, small dark green leaves with margins curled upward.

Hedera helix 'Kobold'
Hedera helix 'Kobold' (M, BF). Smaller leaf sport of 'Wichtel'. Small, medium-green, mostly unlobed leaves with a rounded-tipped, elongated terminal lobe, or slightly three-lobed with asymmetrical basal protrusions. A distinctive, slight pucker is at base of blade.

Hedera helix 'Lady Frances' (M, V, BF). Miniature gray and white variegated Bird's Foot ivy. Variegation is constant. Leaves small, asymmetrical, sharply pointed, predominantly three-lobed with lateral lobes pointing outward, or leaves barely five-lobed with a suspicion of basal lobes. Strongly self-branching.

Hedera helix 'Lemon Swirl' (V, C). A sport of 'Ustler'. Compact,self-branching,with basically three to five,rounded lobes. The sides of lateral lobes parallel to mid-rib,and the leaf base is heart shaped. Variegated

Hedera helix 'Medusa'
Hedera helix 'Medusa' (O,F) Leaves with three to five and sometimes more, forward pointing lobes; base cuneate to truncate, and an irregular toothed margin. There are raised veins radiating out from the petiole. New growth light green, maturing to dark green with lighter veins. This unusual ivy grows stiff and upright because of a fasciated stem.

Hedera helix 'Midas Touch' (V)- A Danish introduction, originally called 'Golden Kolibri'. Leaves three-lobed, heart- shaped. Color is gold to yellow, with a bright green margin and center splashes of green. Pink stems and petioles.

Hedera helix 'Mini-Ester'
Hedera helix 'Mini-Ester' (V,M,BF)- A Danish import. Leaves small, three-lobed; terminal lobe twice as long as broad. White to cream marginal variegation with a green to gray-green center. Very compact and self-branching

Hedera helix 'Misty'
Hedera helix 'Misty' (V,M,BF)- Synonym 'Silver Lace'. This sport of 'Needlepoint' is a small, compact, self-branching ivy with five narrow lobes. The center is colored with various shades of gray, with white veins, and a very narrow white margin. AIS Outdoor Ivy for 1995.

Hedera helix 'Plume d' Or'
Hedera helix 'Plume d' Or' (BF) A five-lobed ivy with almost linear lobes; lateral lobes at right angles to the terminal lobe. The two basal lobes point backwards.

Hedera helix 'Reef Shell'
Hedera helix 'Reef Shell' (O) A sport of 'Zebra'. Leaves oblong,convex with two to four teeth at the terminal end. Veins white and raised,with an irregular margin of cream to white,and a gray-green center.

Hedera helix 'Shamrock'
Hedera helix 'Shamrock' (M, BF). A Ideally, a very self-branching Miniature ivy with three (or rarely five) ovate, round-tipped-lobed leaves. Leaves may be split into separate leaflets that overlap the terminal lobe. Larger, less-split forms are relegated to Shamrock-Group.

Hedera helix 'Spetchley'(M, BF). (Synonym: 'Gnome'). One of the tiniest ivies. Leaves leathery, dark green, three-lobed with an elongated, rounded terminal lobe. Stems of new growth are maroon.

Hedera helix 'Teardrop'
Hedera helix 'Teardrop' (H) As the name implies, leaves are teardrop-shaped. Leaves mostly unlobed, but occasionally two or more lobes can be found with a heart-shaped base. Leaf tip elongated to point. Slow growing and stiffly branched. The leaf shape is probably the result of a fasciated petiole. Good out door ivy.

Leaves slightly wider than long, mostly five-lobed, or three-lobed with shallow sinuses. Variegation combines three shades of green blotches, speckles and dots on a yellowish-to-cream leaf.

Hedera helix 'Tussie Mussie'
Hedera helix ''Tussie Mussie' (V,BF)
A presumed sport of 'Shamrock'. Compact habit with extremely variable leaves. Leaves usually three-lobes, but sometimes unlobed or with two small additional lobes. Leaf color medium green with various marbled and speckled areas of gray or gray-green, or nearly white.

Hedera helix 'Walthamensis'
Hedera helix 'Walthamensis' (I). Dark green leaves like miniature 'Hibernica' leaves, but with rounded lobes. Leaves as wide as long with broad terminal lobe. In winter leaves blackish-green with white veins.
